General Education Courses

The department offers a variety of general education courses to undergraduate students, ranging from foundational courses to GE capstone courses.

The university core course, UCPN1005 The Art of Persuasion, is a foundational course required of all Year 2 students. This course is designed to help students enhance their knowledge and ability in persuasion and public speaking. A dedicated staff serve this general education course.

The GE capstone courses, such as GCAP3115 Children as Consumers: Marketing to the Youth and GCAP3116 Entrepreneurship, Creative Thinking and Innovations in New Ventures, gives students opportunities to synthesize knowledge from various disciplines and to apply the knowledge to manage important issues and solve practical problems in real-life contexts.
