Professor Kara Chan, Head of the Department of Communication Studies of the School of Communication, and Professor Gerard Prendergast, Head of the Department of Marketing of the School of Business, at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), won a Highly Commended Award at the Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2012 for a paper they co-authored entitled “Danish and Chinese adolescents’ perceptions of healthy eating and attitudes toward regulatory measures”. The award was presented by Emerald Group Publishing Limited.
