Curriculum Features
The sequence of study for organizational communication begins with the establishment of a context for understanding and practising organizational communication in the contemporary world.

In the first year of study, students examine the parameters of communication as an academic area, as well as the historical, intellectual and professional elements of the field.

Students progress through courses examining interpersonal, group, organizational and intercultural communication. They will study persuasion and leadership communication.

In the final year, students will have an opportunity to learn a variety of professional skills and competencies from such courses as communication project management, organizational communication training and development, organizational decision making and problem solving, communication audits and conflict and negotiation.
Students will be given the opportunity to conduct an honors project that synthesizes what they have learned in classroom into a professional or research project.
