TYA is a non-credit-bearing practicum designed to function as a public relations and advertising organization; it is formed and managed by second and third year PRA students.
The management staff is selected by the students and supervised by a PRA faculty member. Modeled on the structure of a typical advertising and public relations company, TYA also handles externally commissioned projects or assignments by lecturers. |
This workshop allows students to gain practical experience by participating in the planning and execution of actual public relations and advertising programs. Students become familiar with the techniques of objective-setting, evaluation, research, and strategy-selection by way of a case-study approach and a campaign-planning approach to the Option content.
